22 SEP 2011 - Another Awesome Hi Tec Oils Race 4 Real

Wow... What an awesome night and with 160 racers doing over 700 runs down the track this week's Hi Tec Oils Race 4 Real Wednesday at Sydney Dragway was a blast!

Also there were plenty of giveaways happening throughout the evening on the specatator mound thanks to our friends at Heavenly Curves and of course the Hi Tec Oils Team who are always on hand to answer any questions you may have regarding lubricants for your car or bike.

The mild conditions suited at lot of the cars and bikes with a number of personal best runs and on top of that Simbad D'Towee and his mates put on a smoke show and a half on the Burnout Pad.

The good news for those that didn't make it to this weeks Hi Tec Oils Race 4 Real is the Reaction Time Perect Light Jackpot did not go off so that means it will be over $600 for a perfect .000 light next week!

Harry Papadopoulos went close with his .003 light on his CBR Honda and that was good enough to hold on to the top spot and $300!!!

Our second place getter James Kennedy proved you don't have to be the fastest to win on a Hi Tec Oils Race 4 Real Wednesday and took home $200 with a .010 light.

Regular Super Sedan racer Jim Denaro has been coming down a for bit a fun in the family wagon lately and ended up taking home $50 for his .011 light that got into the third place.

Anthony Coris' HX Sandman would have brought back a few memories for us old blokes... So cool to see cars like this out on the track.

... ahhh what can you say... it is hard find good help these days !

Self confessed Ford Freak Julie Ireland was giving her FG XR8 some  last runs before it goes in for some work in the engine department ... its always great to see you down here Joolz!

Ok ... Toughest car of the night had to go to Tobias Breen's Pro Charged 400 cubic inch Monte Carlo ... The boys from CV Performance have been tweaking the beast and finally got it into the nines with a very respectable 9.731 at a whopping 145.20 mph !!!

As we said a the top of the report Simbad D'Towee just can't wait to fog in the venue at any chance he gets ...

... and the same goes for his buddy Paul Awad in his On Tap short wheel base 308 powered Rodeo

Normally Michael Gregg would be blasting down the Quarter Mile on his Nitro Harley but he took up the offer of climing into Mrs Bad's Sunny for bit of fun on the Burnout pad... Hmmmm ... Looks like we have another Simbad disciple!
