30 MAY 2012 - Another full house at Hi-Tec Oils Race for Real

Yet another full house of off street racers turned up to have some fun on the Drag Strip and also have a crack at the $1800 up for grabs in the Reaction Time Jackpot Kitty ... The good news for those that were not there this week is it did NOT go off so next week it will be well over $2000 !!!

It was an action packed night with one car going deep into the Gravel Trap, one catching fire in the deep end and another doing 3 x 360s in breaking area after dumping coolant under the tyres ... phew what a night! Of course during all this the Reaction Time Competition was in full swing ...

Frank Kanak was first at the gate when we opened at 4:30pm and went oh so close with a .003 light in his Charger which was good enough to hang on for first place and $300

Luke Hill was second with .012 reaction time, however we did not get a pic of his 3.0L Toyota Hilux and hopefully the $200 will go towards fixing his broken Diff !!!

Mike McDonald kept his end up for the bike guys and scored third place with a .015 light on his VTR 1000 Honda

Matthew Hunt has been giving the NSW Championship series a go lately and went to the runner up spot in Rapid Bikes Magazine Modified Bike at the last round on his Kawasaki.

Robert Corben's XA has 393 cubic inches of Cleveland under the bonnet and this stunner runs into the low 11 second zone.

Bill Hatzi is no stranger to big wheels up launches in his Camaro however he tried to turn his 454 cube HQ inside out!

Another of out regular supporters of Sydney Dragway is Jason Field and he takes any opportunuty he can to give his 11 second '47 Ford Pilot a blast down the strip.

Joel Dwight got his RX-7 down in the very low 12's in front of the enthusiastic fans taking the opportunity to get up close to the action in the crew viewing area.

Servin It Up Australia rider Dave 'DStunts' Mckenna kept the crowd entertained whenever a break occured throughout the evening .. some of the stuff this guy does on a bike just has to be seen to be believed!!! Check out his promo clip here

David Ireland (husband of the famous Joolz Ireland) brought his very tidy XY Ute down for the first time and ran in the mid 12s.

You just never know who you are going to see at a Hi-Tec Oils Race 4 Real Wednesday here we have Veteran Racer Benny Gatt testing his mate Michael Simms' Jeep out for him!

Darrin Hager was back out doing what he loves best and that is destroying those evil black things in just over 2 minutues!!!

Another Hi-Tec Oils Race 4 Real in done and dusted, remember next week the Perfecet Light Reaction Time Jackpot is going to be somewhere near two and half grand!!!
