20th OCT 2010 - IT GOES OFF!!! the Jackpot that is!!!
It was a beautiful spring night and everything was going along swimmingly until 8:45pm when Mick Walsh nailed the perfect light and took home a cool One Thousand, Three Hundred and Fifty bucks... Nice!!!

This what we all saw when Mick left the line ...

... and here is Mick so everyone knows who to hate for taking the Jackpot money away from them... hahaha ... Only kidding Mick!

The "Pimp my Ride" award for this week went to Victor's Subaru Forrester with a cool True Flame job!

The nice weather brought out some nice stuff to the Sydney Dragway quarter mile and Chad's 308 powered EH Ute looked a treat.

... and John Kerr's 34 Dodge Coupe with 360 Chrysler power of course was also looking sharp on the track.

... and one for the likers of things a little newer, this 626 of Adrian's was a stand out in the staging lanes, for those wondering Adrian did all the work himself in his shed and the colour is the Focus TX5 Orange with a little red in it to tone it down ...

... and there was some tough stuff out too ... Carl Taylor's Chevy Belair with 409 power looked very tough lifting the front end on the launch!

What night would be complete without a big block powered C10 doing skids on the Sydney quarter mile... Rod's "low to the ground and wide to the eye" version looked awesome!

Whoops ... with all this stuff going on I forgot about our "other" winners ... Adrian Said cranked out a .001 at 2 minutes past six to set the early pace in his VL. ( if you look closely you will notice "Baldy" one of our highly trained crew members spotted it!!!)

Coming in third with another .001 !!!... was Guido on his Suzuki ... any other week would that would have been good enough for top spot!

Speaking of the bikes ... the boys were having a fair bit of fun out there and Roger was no exception on his 750 Suzuki!

Of course no one had to worry about braking down coz Josh was site in his Mitsubishi Express to help out ... nice one Josh!

...and if Josh could not fix it Simbad was ready and willing to assist ... after he finished his Burnout of course!!!
Even thought the Jackpot went off it should be around the $300 mark next week so make sure you get down to Sydney Dragway early so you can get amongst the fun ... and of course the cash!!!
